Olympic Village Haulage Contract Continues
Walkers Haulage Department contract with ABM Precast Solutions to move over 300 pre-stressed concrete beams from ABM's manufacturing depot down to the new Olympic Village in London continues. The Beams, which weigh between 25-32 tonnes and were loaded using Cranes from Walkers Crane Hire Department were double stacked on each load, producing a total load weight of at least 50 tonnes. These type of loads needed escorting and police and highway notification, which was all handled in-house by Walkers.
